six-year-old
company,
which
allows
consumers
to
make
and
customize
their
own
T-shirts,
greeting
cards,
postage
stamps,
and
other
products,
needed
a
web
makeover
on
a
tight
deadline.
In
conjunction
with
a
design
facelift,
I
rewrote
all
copy
for
the
landing
pages.
The
goal
was
clarity:
headlines
were
made
punchier,
text
streamlined,
and
page
organization
restructured
to
guide
users
through
the
process
of
selecting
and
creating
merchandise.
By
the
way,
legendary
venture
capitalist
John
Doerr
is
bullish
on
Zazzle,
saying
it
represents
“a
way
to
take
all
those
unique,
individual,
and
custom
expressions
of
self
and
realize
them
in
expressions
generally
of
things,
be
they
apparel,
or
posters,
or
stamps.”
